TERMS & CONDITIONS

See The Sights Tours Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “See The Sights Tours”) provides sightseeing tours and travel services in the tourism industry. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “Terms”) apply to any individual or entity (hereinafter “Customer”) who books, purchases, or participates in any tour, product, or service provided by See The Sights Tours. By proceeding with any booking, purchase, or participation, each Customer acknowledges, understands, agrees to, accepts, and consents to be legally bound by these Terms in their entirety.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement and are applicable to all Customers, regardless of nationality, age, gender, sexual orientation, language, ethnicity, citizenship, traditions, religious beliefs, personal or professional beliefs, or any other demographic characteristic. They apply uniformly to all See The Sights Tours products and services, irrespective of the means or methods through which they are purchased, including direct bookings with See The Sights Tours or purchases made through third-party agents, resellers, or any intermediaries.

It is the sole and explicit responsibility of each Customer, or of a parent or legal guardian in the case of Customers under the age of 18, to thoroughly read, understand, agree to, accept, and adhere to these Terms, as well as to the See The Sights Tours Privacy Policy, before booking or participating in any product or service. Access to the Privacy Policy is available here.

Any Customer who, for any reason, does not fully agree to, accept, or abide by any provision within these Terms, or within the See The Sights Tours Privacy Policy, is advised not to proceed with any booking, purchase, or participation in any product or service provided by See The Sights Tours. Any failure to abide by these Terms or the Privacy Policy may result in immediate termination of services, without refund, and may be grounds for legal action.

These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Each Customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Great Britain and Northern Ireland with respect to any matters related to these Terms or the use of See The Sights Tours’ services.

1. Pricing and Currency: All prices listed on the See The Sights Tours website are in Great British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes including VAT.

2. Third-Party Pricing and Currency: See The Sights Tours products or services may be advertised on third-party platforms in different currencies and at different price points. These prices are subject to change independently of See The Sights Tours.

3. Customer Responsibility for Fees: When booking any See The Sights Tours product or service, the customer acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for any and all associated fees, including but not limited to booking, transaction, and service fees. Such fees are non-refundable, non-remunerable, and non-compensable under any circumstances by See The Sights Tours.

4. Travel Expenses: Any and all costs related to the customer's travel to and from the See The Sights Tours product or service, including transportation and accommodation, are the sole responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded, remunerated, or compensated by See The Sights Tours under any circumstances.

5. Ticket Validity: All tickets purchased for See The Sights Tours products or services are valid only for the specific date and time indicated on the ticket. Tickets purchased from third parties must also be valid at the time of participation in the product or service. See The Sights Tours reserves the right to deny entry to any customer presenting an invalid ticket.

6. Ticket Limitations and Group Policy: See The Sights Tours reserves the right to limit the number of tickets available for each tour and/or per booking or traveling party. A "traveling party" is defined as a group of individuals who are acquainted prior to booking the tour. The maximum number of tickets allowed per traveling party is eight (8). Any attempt to circumvent this by making multiple bookings, either under the same name or different names, will result in the cancellation of affected bookings. In a scenario where See The Sights Tours only becomes aware that a group or travelling party has attempted to circumvent this condition within 24 hours of the tour start time then the group or travelling party will be advised that they cannot join the tour, whilst the affected bookings will not be refunded. Groups exceeding this limit must book a private tour here.

7. Amendments to Bookings: Customers wishing to amend their booking must submit a written request to See The Sights Tours at least 24 hours before the original departure date and time. Bookings cannot be amended within 24 hours of the scheduled departure. All amendments must be made via email to tours@seethesightstours.com.

8. Acceptance of Amendments: See The Sights Tours is under no obligation to accept or approve amendments to bookings. Any amendments that are accepted will be subject to availability and business requirements. Amendments will only be confirmed upon receipt of written confirmation from See The Sights Tours.

9. Ticket Classification by Age: "Adult" tickets must be purchased by individuals aged 18 years or older. "Children" tickets are available for individuals aged 5-17 years inclusive. Children under the age of 5 may attend at no charge. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the product or service.

10. Request for Identification: See The Sights Tours reserves the right to request valid identification or proof of age from any customer, adult or child, or the parent or legal guardian of a child, at any time and for any reason.

11. No Show Policy: If a customer misses a product or service for which they have a valid ticket, that customer will be classified as a "No Show”. See The Sights Tours reserves the exclusive right to determine whether a customer is classified as a "No Show."

12. No Show Fees and Non-Refundable Tickets: Tickets for “No Show” customers (see terms & condition point 11) are non-refundable and will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Furthermore, customers classified as "No Shows" are not entitled to a complimentary ticket for any other See The Sights Tours product or service and may not use their voided or cancelled ticket for any future products or services.

13. Additional No Show Fees: See The Sights Tours reserves the right to apply and charge any additional fees associated with a "No Show" incident, as determined by its policies, and the customer agrees to pay such fees in full within the stated timeframe.

14. Third-Party Payment Claims: See The Sights Tours retains the right to claim full payment from any third party on behalf of the customer for any booking, regardless of whether the customer attended the relevant product or service.

15. Third-Party Pass or Voucher Applications: In cases where a customer is required to submit an application to book a tour using an external city pass, voucher, or equivalent, See The Sights Tours reserves the right to use confidential and selective decision-making criteria to determine whether to accept the application. See The Sights Tours is under no obligation to disclose any these criteria to any party and is under no obligation to accept any application. Furthermore use of discount codes exclusive to third parties are only valid to be used by eligible customers of the third party. Failure to provide evidence of being an eligible customer of the third party will result in the subsequent booking/s being cancelled without refund.

16. Cancellation and Refund Policy: For See The Sights Tours products or services with a cancellation policy that permits refunds, when cancellations are made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time then a full refund may be provided if the cancellation request is received in writing via email to tours@seethesightstours.com at least 24 hours before the product or service start date and time.

17. Refund Method: Any refunds authorised by See The Sights Tours will be processed strictly using the original method of payment and, where applicable, the original banking details provided at the time of booking. Under no circumstances will refunds be issued through any alternate method or to alternate banking details.

18. Refund Processing Time: Authorised refunds may take up to ten (10) business days to process by See The Sights Tours. The timeframe for funds to reflect in the customer’s account will be subject to the policies and processing times of the customer’s bank or financial institution.

19. Non-Refundable Cancellations Within 24 Hours: All cancellations made within 24 hours of the product or service start time are strictly non-refundable and will incur a 100% cancellation fee, including bookings made within 24 hours of the start time. The only exception to this policy is if the cancellation is due to the cancellation of the product or service by See The Sights Tours.

20. Non-Refundable Products and Services: Any See The Sights Tours products or services that have a stated non-refundable cancellation policy are not eligible for refunds of any kind or under any circumstances, except in cases where the product or service is cancelled by See The Sights Tours.

21. Deduction of Processing Costs: In cases where a refund is authorised by See The Sights Tours, the refund amount may be reduced by any expenses, fees, or costs incurred by See The Sights Tours in processing the refund and/or any costs already expensed by See The Sights Tours in anticipation of the customer’s attendance.

22. Right to Deny Refund Requests: See The Sights Tours reserves the full, unrestricted right to deny any refund requests from customers, including requests made through third parties, for any reason. See The Sights Tours also retains the right to implement a cancellation policy that differs from any third-party platform selling See The Sights Tours products or services; in such cases, the cancellation policy stated on the See The Sights Tours website will take precedence unless explicitly approved otherwise in writing by See The Sights Tours.

23. Cancellation by See The Sights Tours: See The Sights Tours retains the right to cancel any product or service at any time and for any reason, with no obligation to provide advance notice to customers. See The Sights Tours may also impose a minimum number of bookings requirement, or the number of guests, for any tour, product, or service to proceed. If this minimum is not met by a specified cut-off time, then See The Sights Tours reserves the right to cancel the product or service for that specific date and/or time. The cut-off time for minimum bookings will be determined solely by See The Sights Tours.

24. Customer Options in the Event of a Cancellation by See The Sights Tours: If See The Sights Tours cancels a product or service for which a customer has purchased a pre-paid ticket, See The Sights Tours may, at its discretion, (i) contact the customer directly or through the booking method to offer a rescheduled date and/or time for the product or service, or (ii) provide a 100% refund to the customer using the same payment method originally used for booking.

25. No Additional Compensation for Cancellations: Should See The Sights Tours cancel a product or service for any reason then no additional compensation, remuneration, or damages beyond those specified in the cancellation policy will be owed or payable to any customer, under any circumstances.

26. Accuracy of Information: See The Sights Tours endeavours to ensure that all information provided in connection with its products and services is accurate and reliable to the best of its knowledge. However, See The Sights Tours disclaims any liability for the accuracy of information conveyed during its tours, products, or services and will not be held responsible for any errors or inaccuracies therein.

27. Scheduled Start Times: See The Sights Tours reserves the right to commence all products and services strictly at the scheduled start time. See The Sights Tours assumes no obligation to delay or reschedule for customers arriving late, regardless of the reason or circumstances for the delay.

28. Departure Location: All products and services will depart from the specified meeting, start, or departure location as advertised on the See The Sights Tours website, unless explicitly stated otherwise in advance.

29. Language of Services: Unless expressly indicated otherwise, all See The Sights Tours products and services will be conducted exclusively in the English language.

30. Right to Modify Itineraries: See The Sights Tours reserves the unrestricted right to alter, adapt, or amend any part of the itinerary for a product or service at any time and for any reason, with no obligation to provide advance notice to customers.

31. Voluntary Consumption of Food and Drink: By booking or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service where food or drink may be available for consumption, each customer acknowledges, agrees, and accepts that any consumption of food and/or drink is entirely voluntary and undertaken solely at the customer’s own discretion. The customer assumes full responsibility for assessing the personal suitability of any food or drink offered during the tour or service.

32. Responsibility for Dietary Requirements: It is the sole responsibility of each customer to ensure, to their complete satisfaction, that any food or drink consumed while participating in a See The Sights Tours product or service is suitable for their consumption, taking into consideration any personal allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions, or preferences. For participants under 18 years of age, this responsibility rests solely with their parent or legal guardian.

33. Limitation of Liability for Adverse Reactions: By booking or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each customer expressly acknowledges, agrees, and accepts that See The Sights Tours, including any of its contracted staff, employees, associates, tour guides, or partners, shall bear no liability for any adverse reactions, health consequences, or other outcomes related to the consumption of any food and/or drink. This includes, but is not limited to, injury, illness, disability, or death.

34. Waiver of Claims for Health-Related Costs: By booking or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service where food or drink may be consumed, each customer agrees, acknowledges, and accepts that neither they nor any related party (including but not limited to family, friends, acquaintances, organisations, or groups) shall seek compensation, damages, or reimbursement from See The Sights Tours, its staff, employees, associates, tour guides, or partners for any medical, health-related, or other expenses incurred as a result of the consumption of any food or drink during the tour or service.

35. Acceptance of Third-Party Venue Terms: For any See The Sights Tours product or service involving visits to third-party venues, buildings, sites, or organisations, each customer acknowledges that such third-party locations operate independently from See The Sights Tours. By entering any third-party property, the customer agrees to comply with all applicable terms, conditions, privacy policies, legal and governmental requirements, as well as any specific fees, taxes, rules, or regulations of each third-party location. Customers may request further information regarding these requirements by contacting See The Sights Tours in advance at tours@seethesightstours.com.

36. Prohibition on Alcohol Consumption: The consumption of alcohol on any See The Sights Tours product or service is strictly prohibited unless explicitly included as part of the advertised experience (e.g., beer or wine tasting). Any alcohol consumption outside these stated exceptions is not permitted under any circumstances.

37. Prohibition on Violence and Drug Use: The use of any form of violence or any illegal drugs is strictly prohibited on all See The Sights Tours products and services, without exception.

38. Right of Removal: See The Sights Tours reserves the unrestricted right to remove any individual(s) from a product or service at any time and for any reason. Customers removed from a tour, product, or service will not be eligible for any refund, remuneration, expense reimbursement, or compensation of any kind.

39. Customer Responsibility for Legal Conduct: Each customer is solely responsible for ensuring that their behaviour throughout the duration of any See The Sights Tours product or service complies with all applicable laws. Should a customer be deemed responsible for any illegal activity, See The Sights Tours reserves the right to notify relevant law enforcement or emergency services.

40. Liability for Third-Party Behaviour: See The Sights Tours, including its contracted staff, employees, associates, tour guides, or partners, shall not be held responsible or liable for the actions or behaviour of other customers or any other members of the public.

41. Waiver of Liability for Misconduct of Others: By participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each customer grants See The Sights Tours and its contracted staff, employees, associates, tour guides, and partners full immunity from any and all legal responsibility or liability. This includes immunity from any costs, fees, expenses, compensation, fines, or claims that may arise from witnessing or being affected by the inappropriate or illegal behaviour of other customers or members of the public.

42. Compliance with Transportation Safety Laws: Where any See The Sights Tours product or service includes transportation by vehicle, each customer agrees to abide by all safety requirements under United Kingdom law and the specific vehicle’s safety regulations, including but not limited to the mandatory use of seatbelts.

43. Third-Party Transportation Ownership: Customers acknowledge that any transportation provided as part of a See The Sights Tours product or service may be owned and/or operated by a third party. In such cases, all rules, regulations, terms, conditions, and privacy policies of the third-party provider apply. Customers may confirm these details by contacting See The Sights Tours at tours@seethesightstours.com before booking or participating in the product or service.

44. Use of Valid Transportation Card and Identification: Where public transportation is utilised, each customer agrees to possess and use a valid transportation card and legal form of identification as required by law, regulations, and the transportation provider’s policies. It is solely the customer's responsibility to verify the validity and legality of their transportation card and identification.

45. Acceptance of Liability for Invalid Transportation Use: Should a customer be found using an illegal or invalid transportation card or identification, they accept full responsibility for any legal or financial consequences imposed by law enforcement, government authorities, or third-party transportation providers. The customer grants See The Sights Tours and its contracted staff, employees, associates, tour guides, and partners full immunity from all forms of prosecution, liability, fees, expenses, costs, compensation, or fines related to the use of such illegal or invalid documentation

46. Insurance Requirement: By booking or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each customer expressly warrants and confirms that they hold comprehensive travel, medical, health, and property insurance with adequate coverage for all potential incidents or damages. This insurance must encompass all risks, including but not limited to loss, theft, damage, inconvenience, injury, illness, or death of any kind, affecting either person or property, arising before, during, or after participation in any See The Sights Tours product or service, regardless of cause, fault, or negligence.

47. No Obligation to Verify Insurance: See The Sights Tours holds no responsibility to verify the existence or sufficiency of any customer’s insurance coverage.

48. Waiver of Claims Against See The Sights Tours: Each customer agrees and undertakes, on behalf of themselves and any associates (including family, friends, acquaintances, organisations, or any group to which they belong), not to seek compensation, damages, or reimbursement from See The Sights Tours, its contractors, employees, associates, tour guides, or partners for any expenses, damages, or costs related to travel, health, medical needs, or property issues, regardless of the circumstances. This waiver includes claims on any insurance coverage the customer may possess.

49. No Coverage Under See The Sights Tours Insurance: By booking or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each customer confirms their understanding that they are not entitled to any coverage or protection under any insurance policies held by See The Sights Tours, its contractors, employees, associates, tour guides, or partners.

50. Affiliations and Marketing of Partner Services: See The Sights Tours may engage in partnerships with third-party affiliates, whether disclosed or undisclosed, and may market these partners’ products or services through various channels in exchange for compensation, commissions, or other benefits.

51. Acceptance of Third-Party Terms: By purchasing any third-party product or service marketed through See The Sights Tours, each customer confirms their understanding and acceptance of all terms, conditions, and privacy policies of the third-party provider. Customers further waive any rights to pursue legal, civil, or criminal actions against See The Sights Tours, its contractors, employees, associates, tour guides, or partners in connection with the third-party product or service for any reason.

52. Consent to Use of Customer Likeness and Information: By booking or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each customer grants See The Sights Tours full, perpetual, irrevocable permission to use the customer’s name, image, likeness, age, nationality, voice, and any other identifiable information for any marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. This usage may include, without limitation, the See The Sights Tours website, social media, printed materials, online and physical photographs, audio and video footage, television, radio, third-party marketing, podcasts, billboards, and any other media content.

53. Waiver of Compensation for Use of Likeness: Each customer agrees that See The Sights Tours is not obligated to pay any fees, royalties, compensation, or remuneration for the use of their likeness or other identifiable information. Customers further acknowledge they are not entitled to any portion of any income or revenue generated by See The Sights Tours through the use of such information. This waiver is in addition to the See The Sights Tours Privacy Policy.

54. Authorisation for Photography and Video: By participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each customer consents to photography, videography, and other recordings by See The Sights Tours for any business-related purpose. Such purposes may include, but are not limited to, marketing, promotional activities, administrative needs, staff management, security, legal compliance, and health or safety requirements.

55. Full License for All Photography and Video Usage: By participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each customer grants See The Sights Tours, as well as any associated third parties, a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable, and worldwide license to use any photography, video, or media taken during the service for any purpose. This license includes but is not limited to images and footage made publicly available by customers through third-party websites. Customers agree that no royalties, fees, or other compensation are owed to them by See The Sights Tours for such usage.

56. Transfer of Ownership for Submitted Media: Any media submitted directly to See The Sights Tours, or posted by a customer to any account associated with See The Sights Tours on third-party websites, becomes the sole property of See The Sights Tours. The customer thereby grants See The Sights Tours an exclusive, perpetual, unrestricted license to use, modify, and distribute this media in any manner, with no requirement to seek further permission or to provide compensation to the customer.

57. Provision of Customer Email for Reviews: By booking or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each customer consents to the provision of their email address to third-party review platforms, solely for the purpose of soliciting reviews. These third parties may include, but are not limited to, Fareharbor, Google, Tripadvisor, and Yelp. Customers who wish to opt out of such email sharing must notify See The Sights Tours in writing at tours@seethesightstours.com before the commencement of their product or service.

58. Inclusion in Marketing Mailing List: By booking or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each customer consents to the inclusion of their email address on the See The Sights Tours mailing list for promotional purposes. For third-party bookings, or if an email is provided to See The Sights Tours by the customer, the customer’s email address may be manually added. Customers can request removal from the mailing list at any time by contacting See The Sights Tours in writing at tours@seethesightstours.com or by using the “unsubscribe” option if one is available in any received emails. This provision supplements the See The Sights Tours Privacy Policy.

59. "Free Walking Tour" Payment Terms: When a See The Sights Tours product or service is marketed as a "free walking tour," it is offered on a "pay-what-you-like" basis, where any payment, gratuity, or tip is voluntary. Should a customer choose not to provide any form of payment, the tour will remain financially free of charge.

60. Voluntary Nature of Payments: All payments made to See The Sights Tours or its representatives, including gratuities and tips, are entirely voluntary. Customers acknowledge that See The Sights Tours does not compel, pressure, or require any customer to make any form of payment outside of the pre-paid cost of booking a product or service provided by See The Sights Tours.

61. Distribution of Guide Earnings: Each customer acknowledges that any payments, gratuities, or tips given to tour guides may be subject to distribution agreements, and the tour guide may be required to remit a portion of these earnings to See The Sights Tours in accordance with their contractual arrangement.

62. Independent Contractor Status of Guides: Customers understand and accept that tour guides may operate as independent contractors, freelance professionals, or other non-employee roles and may not be directly employed by See The Sights Tours. As such, tour guides are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and other applicable fees. Customers further acknowledge that the opinions or views expressed by guides are personal and do not necessarily represent those of See The Sights Tours.

63. Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability: By purchasing a ticket for, or participating in, any product or service offered by See The Sights Tours, each customer expressly agrees and acknowledges that they are doing so voluntarily and at their own risk. Each customer further acknowledges and accepts that See The Sights Tours, including all contracted staff, employees, associates, tour guides, or partners, shall bear no liability for any damages, losses, theft, inconvenience, injury, or death of any kind, whether to persons, animals, or property, that may occur before, during, or after the participation in any tour, product, or service provided by See The Sights Tours, regardless of the cause. Additionally, each customer irrevocably grants See The Sights Tours and its representatives full immunity from any and all forms of legal, financial, civil, or criminal liability or prosecution arising out of such incidents.

64. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure: By booking or participating in any product or service provided by See The Sights Tours, each customer agrees not to disclose, publish, or relay any details of their experience with See The Sights Tours, including but not limited to any information about its products, services, staff, or related experiences, to any media or third-party outlets (including television, radio, newspapers, social media, blogs, podcasts, magazines, or any similar platform) without obtaining prior written consent from the business owner of See The Sights Tours. Customers further agree not to create or disseminate any written or recorded materials—such as diaries, memoirs, letters, stories, photographs, interviews, articles, essays, accounts, descriptions, or depictions (whether fictionalised or not)—pertaining to their experience with See The Sights Tours without such prior written permission from the business owner. Any permission granted by any other individual associated with See The Sights Tours, including contracted staff, employees, associates, tour guides, or partners, is invalid. Written consent requests should be directed to the business owner via email at tours@seethesightstours.com, addressed to the business owner. This clause excludes genuine customer reviews posted on official See The Sights Tours social media pages or review platforms (such as Tripadvisor) under official See The Sights Tours accounts.

65. Right to Modify Terms and Conditions: See The Sights Tours reserves the absolute right to amend, modify, add, or remove any provisions within its Terms and Conditions, as well as its Privacy Policy, at any time and for any reason, without obligation to notify any customer prior to or after such changes. By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each customer expressly agrees and acknowledges that these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy, may be revised after a booking is made. Customers bear the sole responsibility to review and ensure familiarity with the current Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy prior to their participation. For avoidance of doubt, the current Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy as posted on the See The Sights Tours website shall supersede and replace all prior versions or adaptations, including those initially agreed to by any customer.
